The Kurt Caselli Foundation Celebrates Successful 11th Annual Kurt Caselli Ride Day
TEMECULA, California (February 7, 2025) — The Kurt Caselli Foundation is excited to share the success of the 11th Annual Kurt Caselli Ride Day, held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Fox Raceway in Pala, CA. Nearly 700 enthusiasts and supporters from across the country came together to celebrate Kurt’s legacy, raising $58,593 to advance off-road safety programs and educational scholarships.
This year’s event featured a variety of engaging activities for riders and fans of all skill levels. Attendees enjoyed open riding sessions on multiple motocross tracks, as well as an event-exclusive off-road loop. Novice riders benefited from a free two-hour USMCA Beginner Skills class led by certified motorcycle coaches. Additionally, segmented Vet track practices provided designated riding sessions for kids, women, beginners, and adaptive athletes, ensuring an inclusive experience for all participants.
A standout moment of the day was the Caselli Team Challenge Race, presented by Challenge Sponsor Rocky Mountain ATV/MC, which randomly paired pro riders with amateurs in a fun Pro-Am showdown on the Vet track. Pro rider Gus Riordan and his teammate Ryan Reina emerged as the winners, adding their names to the perpetual trophy.
A heartfelt Memorial Legend Lap honored Kurt Caselli and his lasting impact on the off-road community. The day also featured a special presentation from The Kurt Caselli Foundation, during which Alpinestars showcased their latest air vest safety technology, including a live demo demonstrating the vest’s functionality during a hard impact. Two Spring 2025 scholarship recipients, Jett Lessing and Hana Hintz, were recognized, and David Hayes from Las Vegas, NV, was announced as the winner of the Motorcycle Giveaway, allowing him to choose a bike model from participating partners: Honda, GASGAS, Husqvarna, KTM, Yamaha, and Beta Motorcycles. A silent auction and raffles provided additional chances for attendees to win over 40 prizes donated by top industry brands.

The event featured a total of 34 vendors, whose generous contributions and commitment to off-road safety were vital to its success. A vendor challenge saw 21 vendors participating, where attendees could earn a Caselli Shield sticker, a Caselli dust mask, and a raffle ticket by completing a game card. Guests also enjoyed delicious meals from Bonehead Burgers & Breakfast Club, with a portion of the sales benefiting The Kurt Caselli Foundation. Moreover, 100% of the proceeds from 805 Beer and Drink Weird went directly towards furthering the Foundation’s mission.
The 2024 Ride Day would not have been possible without the support of our dedicated sponsors, including FMF, PCI Race Radios, Rocky Mountain ATV/MC, KTM, Fox Racing, and 805, as well as the involvement of our entire off-road community. Your unwavering support fuels The Kurt Caselli Foundation’s mission and ensures that Kurt’s spirit lives on in the off-road community.
